Scouting For Food, Distribution

We met at the First United Methodist Church at noon on Saturday, 11/11/06. Rita Recker was in charge, and assigned delivery routes to adult drivers. Scouts that are going on the Joshua Tree trek distributed the bags by hanging them on household doorknobs. In a week other troop scouts (those not going to Joshua Tree) will pick up the bags with canned food donations for the needy. Mrs. Recker had stapled a blue card to most bags that gave pick-up information. After we dropped of the bags that we did not use we left the First United Methodist Church. Scouts: Adam G, Ethan, Geoff, Gordon, Kameron, Kevin, Rafael, Ryan, Sean, and Tyler.
