We had a good time practicing the skills we will be tested on in a week at Camp-o-ree. Luckily the rain held off and we had a sunny comfortable after noon! Sean, Ryan, and Walter S. gathered the gear from the United Methodist Church from 7:30 - 8:00 o'clock. Then we met the troop at Saint Francis Xavier. In the parking lot we marked the campsite and tent placement. We practice lashing by building a tripod and freestanding flagpole. For the cooking competition we cooked a spam-vegetables-Bisquick-pancake-taco thing. We cleaned up as Mr. Roope, Mr. Merica and Mr. Sturrock ate the spam! (EEEEEWWWW!!!!) After eating lunch we started on a "Boys Life Magazine Cover" project. Then Sean made a pacing course and Mac an orienteering course. We finished Sean's course and got one forth the way through Mac's and it was ten minutes to Three o'clock. The Day was to end at 3:00.
