First Aid and CPR Certification Requirements:
Two classes are required for at least one or more in each patrol attending Philmont:
  • CPR

    •       From the American Red Cross or equivalent

  • Wilderness First Aid
    • - NEW!
          Troop 209 has arranged for this 16 hour class to be taught at the Verdugo Hills Counsel office in Glendale for $19
          March 22 and March 29, 9 am - 5:30 pm each day.
          Everyone attending Philmont should attend this class!
    To register for the Wilderness First Aid Basic, fill out this application and get it to Walt Sturrock before February 26th.

    Philmont Medical Form
    This Medical Form (not other BSA forms) is required for all attending Philmont. It must be signed by a physician, and returned to Walt Sturrock.
