Mr. Greer led us on a very successful trek. We met at First United Methodist Church at 6 a.m. and left around 6:30 a.m.. Then we got up there around 730 a.m. We met up and filled out paper work. Then we received all of our gear. Then we went to our classes or we went on the mountain and started to ski/snowboard. We arrived at Mountain High Winter Resort in Wrightwood, CA, around 7:30 am, and an elevation of 8,000 feet. It was 45 degrees and overcast. As the day went on the temperature rose until it was in the low 60s. Many scouts and adults had never skied or snowboarded before. We took classes for snowboarding or skiing, such as all day Children's Academy, Beginner Classes. When we finished our classes we were tired and VERY hungry. We ate lunch, which felt so good! As the day went on it got hotter and hotter, so we took of some or most of our layers before we left. Around 3p.m. we left. We arrived back at First United Methodist Church around 4:30 p.m..
