Fishing at Troutdale

We went to Troutdale so several scouts to complete the Fishing Merit Badge, and others just to have fun. We arrived at the First United Methodist Church at 8:30 a.m.. Then we drove to Troutdale and arrived about 9:30 a.m.. We paid our admittance of $7 per person, then we started to fish for Trout and Blue Gill fish. We had several bites from the Trout in the trout pond but no one caught any. The Blue Gill where in a different pond, and where much easier to catch. All scouts caught several blue gill. We left Troutdale around 12:30 p.m. and stopped to have lunch at a restaurant near the 101 highway at Kanan road. After lunch we drove through traffic, and wound up back at the United Methodist Church at around 2:15 p.m..
