We left from First United Methodist Church for Camp-o-ree at 5:30 p.m. where we would be broken up into three groups, freshman JV and Varsity. Tested and then rewarded for our skills. We arrived, checked in, and started to set up at 6 p.m.. Then we went to bed at 11p.m. and woke up around 7a.m.. We made our breakfasts and left for the flag ceremony and started with the 4 events. The events where broken down into Fire building and cooking, Orienteering and first aid, Pioneering, and Fun event. The Fun event was us throwing Tom-a-hocs at green stumps (no matter how hard you throe it or took it right up to the stumps it would bounce right of so that made it difficult and very dangerous). During this whole time it was extremely windy. When it was time to make lunch and make dinner. The youngest patrols where struggling to stay on time but eventually figured out how to do it. The boxes where missing stuff and the boxes where extremely dirty. We did a great job on the events and did our best. But because it was so windy we where not able to have a camp fire but we where able to do the skits (made no sense at all because they could have given s our awards when we did the skits). That night it was so windy we had to use long sakes and bungee cord to tie down and keep the tents from blowing away. The next morning the Bugler from a different troop woke us up, he didn't just wake us up but he woke us up at 6 A.M. e did not know that DAY LIGHT SAVINGS WAS NOT FOR ANOTHER CUPPLE OF WEEKS. That let us get up earlier and get packed up earlier. We left around 10 a.m. and got every thing up paced and put away at First United Methodist Church.
